Neith (AZART 00097)
Neith is an Egyptian goddess who wove the world and all existence into creation with her loom. She is also the goddess of war and hunting, and her symbols are the bow and arrow, the loom, and the shield.
Neith rests within the woven gas and dust of the Tarantula Nebula (30 Doradus), and is adorned with the ancient central stars of Messier 71, a globular star cluster in the constellation Sagitta (the Arrow).
